Andre S (mx) wrote: This Brazilian movie is just for those homesick Brazilians living outside Brazil who want to see nice images of Rio. The story itself is very weak.

Darryl S (jp) wrote: Before "Todo Sobre Mi Madre," this was, by far and away, my favorite Almodovar film, despite the polarizingly mixed reviews by film critics. I absolutely loved the main character's joy and optimism, even in the most harrowing of circumstances. Truly hilarious and outrageous from start to finish! I'm still at odds as to whether I like this one over the far more serious and critically acclaimed "Habla con Elle".... Whatever the case, it's definitely one of my top three all-time Almodovar faves!

Allison K (ru) wrote: Don't bother with Milk, when this documentary is so perfect and Milk just rehashes it with Sean Penn staring. One of the great documentaries.

Carlos M (gb) wrote: At one point, Woody Allen's character says to Louise Lasser's: "I fail to see the humor of this," which is exactly how I felt watching this terribly unfunny comedy that is more like random scenes and sketches sloppily put together - some of them so irritating they are nearly unbearable.

Carlos M (us) wrote: Hawks re-teams with John Wayne in this obvious remake of Rio Bravo (although he always denied that), which despite lacking in originality and being too familiar for its own good, boasts a stunning cinematography, elegant dialogue and Robert Mitchum virtually stealing the scene.
