See No Evil, Hear No Evil

A murder takes place in the shop of David Lyons, a deaf man who fails to hear the gunshot being fired. Outside, blind man Wally Karue hears the shot but cannot see the perpetrator. Both are arrested, but escape to form an unlikely partnership. Being chased by both the law AND the original killers, can the pair work together to outwit them all?

Wally Karue is a blind man looking for a job and Dave Lyons is a deaf man who runs a newsstand. They witness a murder, but it was Dave who was looking at her, and Wally who was listening. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Jacob B (au) wrote: C-'13 Sins' has enough suspense to keep your adrenaline pumping during its 3rd act, and Mark Webber gets invested into his performance as Elliot. I could say less about Devin Graye, who plays his mentally unstable brother, Michael, who comes off as a guy who is trying, but not hard enough. Another flaw I will write down is that its whole structure gets confusing at times. I still give points for its concept which feels like one of those thought-provoking, What-Would-You-Do concept which has been done before in 'Saw', and the 'Quitters Inc.' story of 'Stephen King's Cat's Eye'.

Tim M (jp) wrote: Unfortunately, Transylmania joins the horde of unfunny, and frankly incredibly dull spoof movies. While it doesn't have random pop culture cameos and references that are supposed to be somehow funny, it still plays itself off as one of those spoof movies that "comes from maybe one of the writers of Scary Movie." In Transylmania, a group of college students decide to take a semester abroad, in the obvious choice, Romania. Upon arrival at the campus in Romania, they learn that it's actually a castle once, and still, home to vampires. They then become mixed up with the vampires, literally, and must then survive. It's quite obvious that the actors casted were the best they could get, because honestly, who would want to be in this movie? They're all rather bland, and unfunny stock characters, that aren't likable, and actually very hatable. If there was anything less believable than the writing, it was the acting, because everything those actors did on screen just made it so much more dumb and pointless. All of the gags and jokes in the film are all from other pieces of work. Meaning, they've all been done before over and over! I think that they got all of their jokes from Saturday morning cartoons. Let me think, they have that "there's isn't actually a mirror there, they just look alike" gag, the "i just shot myself gag", and the confusion with "who's who? Which one do I shoot?" This is one of the least original films I've ever seen. I can't believe I'm not saying it's Twilight, but THIS is the WORST vampire movie EVER, and no, I haven't seen Vampires Suck.

With its powerful story, awesome performances, melodious music (A R Rahman), splendid cinematography (Rajiv Menon) and skilled direction, the movie leaves you spellbound. A Neutral way of putting a biography.

Showcased a reality where Baghdad is a hornet's nest waiting to be kicked over... and the concept of "control" is non-existent, there's only a balance of forces, maintained through constant conflict. It was a little boring to be honest, but I believe this was done on purpose to avoid appealing to the action enthusiasts who would miss the point: Life is not a movie.

Matt G (nl) wrote: A sweet and charming slice-of-life character study that manages to be small and endearing without falling into the trap of unnecessary quirk. Pacino is clearly enjoying himself as the quippy and sadly funny Neil-Diamond-esque aging songwriter, and the supporting cast all do a really nice job as well. A cozy and comfy indie drama with sharp edges and a nice soul.

Michael M (gb) wrote: It's like a gayer "Boogie Nights." Ryan Phillipe spends half the movie with his shirt off and Mike Myers basically plays a SNL character. Salma Hayek was sure hot back in the late '90s as was Never Cambell...but this movie is a dud.
