(nl) wrote: Unwatchable, unimaginative, bargain-basement Flash animation that drags on and on and on... until it's turned off, because I find it nearly impossible to believe anyone could sit through the full 82 minute run. There's nothing remotely good about this. As soon as you hear the female character speak for the first time, you'll want to toss a brick through your screen. It's downhill from there. The only fury in this was mine; I wasted half an hour before ejecting this steaming pile of pixelated plop.

(de) wrote: Love the old fashioned look of the film to fit the period. The narrative/documentary style was very effective. Worth seeing.
(it) wrote: This movie was beautiful! It is one of those charming movies that you never get to see because it wasn't on the buzz. I highly suggest putting it on your must-watch list.

(us) wrote: Curious arthouse schlock,Poe sources notwithstanding, notable mostly for the amount of A list talent (on both sides of the camera) slumming around in all the softcore sadism. Fellini(TM)s is the most visually interesting, Malle(TM)s the closest to an actual story that works, while Vadim(TM)s gives you the opportunity to gaze at Jane Fonda in some skimpy costumes without actually having to sit through Barbarella. Not great, but horror hipsters will certainly find it worth a go.
(us) wrote: (2 out of 4) Holy Rolers is half a good movie. Jesse Eisenberg puts forth a genuine effort while adding his trademark anxiety and the film is nicely directed by Kevin Asch. But it never delivers the dramatic climax we were all waiting for.
(it) wrote: A good movie, felt like I was watching Friday Night Lights with no major dramatic events. The most surprising storyline was the thought of a small town and that everybody is related one way or another. Chris Pine couldn't carry this movie by itself but overall it is a good movie to watch once.

(gb) wrote: One of those rare musicals where it failed both critically, commercially, and as a film. Nothing comes together in this film. It's a mess, a fascinating mess, but nonetheless a mess.
