Bill F (gb) wrote: Unfortunately, It's not exciting, not very fun to watch, and doesn't have a fulfilling ending. I had trouble trying to figure out what year it takes place in.Old 70's cars being driven constantly but political references from the past 15 years. Sadly, although the actors are very good at acting and being compelling, I actually really disliked this movie because it lacked any good point. Sorry, it's a waste of a movie :(

Jason R (mx) wrote: Garbage Storyline ..would get no stars... BUT-One star for The women dancing in the movie ;)

Lauren M (ca) wrote: Netflix instant had this up. I'd never heard of it, but am a fan of Boreanaz, so I checked it out.Poor David. Always cast in these horribly corny films. His character, Lance, is pretty much the anti-Hitch (and you saw how horrible that was). I was a little surprised at all the familiar faces though.

Ben C (ag) wrote: Kicks off as a hackneyed Frank Darabont ripoff but quickly transitions into a raw under-the-radar prison epic. A stellar cast with powerful discharge, misaffected by few exceptions (ahem...Tom Arnold) and thoroughly boosted by others (Mickey Rourke in drag). Highly recommended prison noir.

Amanda K (kr) wrote: OMG....Alan Rickman in another period piece which is also one of my fav genre's. Loved this movie as well.

William H (gb) wrote: an amazing film and excellent build up of gibsons character (which i believe is the biggest purpose of this film)

Rick R (mx) wrote: Cash McCall (1960)This is one of your typical James Garner romantic comedies of the 60's. I've never felt that Garner was a great actor as much as a very likable (and don't forget handsome) character that we just never get tired of seeing on TV and in movies. Here he's a Millionaire playboy and corporate raider, Cash McCall.Cash and the beautiful Lory Austen (Natalie Wood) had a Summer affair in Maine and now Cash is showing up at her daddy's, Grant Austen (Dean Jagger) business, Austen Plastics. We've seen this before, these guys come in, buy up a company, dismantle it, lay everyone off, and sell off what they can for a huge profit. This has worked really well for Cash in the past, but this time it's a little more personal. There's a huge cast of great TV actors, including E.G. Marshall, Henry Jones, Edward Platt, and Otto Kruger. Naturally, with all rom-coms, it has a very predicable plot. Will true love conquer all?

Andrew L (mx) wrote: Fast Five is surprisingly an enjoyable film that took the franchise to the next level in a good way by delivering crazy action stunts, great plot, uniting our favorite characters into one film (and introducing The Rock), and overall bringing a whole new life for the series.

Jesus C (es) wrote: Movie, you had one job to do, and it was being a good movie, and you blew it.The acting is pretty ok, Kurt Russel and James Spader did pretty well on their respective roles, specially Russel, but the rest of the characters are very superficial, even the villager that Spader's falls in love with is not given a proper treatment. The special effects are ok, but the fights are just so... lackluster, it gives you very few thrills because most of them are curbstomps, even Russel's fight with Horus is not safe from it. But the Stargate's sound and effects, are very memorable. The plot was interesting at the start, but when Ra showed up... everything went downhill. His interpretation is very lackluster too, and he doesn't look intimidating; they should have hired a body builder or someone that will look intimidating.Overall, despite heaving a pretty interesting setting, it did most things wrong. Should have been adapted into a TV Show instead of a movie.

Jaye B (mx) wrote: Interesting premise and great acting...just went a bit off-kilter towards the end of the movie for my taste.

Daryl K (br) wrote: Solid, exploitative stuff, with Pam Grier and Margaret Markov as two chained-together inmates who escape from a Filipino women's prison. I have a fondness for pictures that mish-mash grindhouse staples -- in this case, blaxploitation, sexploitation, women-in-prison, violent action, etc. You cover a lot of ground that way, and 'Black Mama, White Mama' manages to put it all together so it's consistently entertaining. Any time you've got Sid Haig appearing in a Pam Grier movie, that's always a good thing, too. The conclusion has something bold to say about what one's freedom should ultimately be used for -- so, extra-added bonus.
