Mike W (it) wrote: Myself and a group of friends recently went to see AMONG RAVENS at its screening here in Galway ( Ireland ) We were totally bowled over with the movie , For its very powerful script , acting , and photography we loved every frame of the movie and highly recommend it to everyone Well done cast and crew bravo bravo .

Eric H (jp) wrote: The acting was so good , it made me with sympathize them . The script is funny , some moments are hilarious . This film is realist Many subject are dealt with drugs , poverty and violence.

Frances H (de) wrote: Loved this really stylishly visual film with the almost jazz-like choreography of the fight scenes. Every shot was just beautiful. A very different role for Kevin McKidd. The story--a cross between Sin City and spaghetti western (or Akira Kurosawa) was somewhat trite, but no more so than most gang/Mafia type films. I can't see why the critics are so down on it. But they didn't like the original Highlander film, either, when it came out. It only achieved cult status and critical acclaim later. Maybe this flick will, too.

Pablo G (jp) wrote: A bit too long for such a story, and a tad unneven considering all the sad, happy, and bizzarre moments it has, but ultimately heart warming and a note to every student, teacher, parent, and any other person who doesnt quite see the true beauty in things and is too deep in the strict society the modern ages has us trapped on.

Chris D (it) wrote: Placing the Snow White tale into modern day college setting makes way for Sydney Whote to delivers great laughs and to make a very solid twist on the classic fairy tale.

Hans L (jp) wrote: I had to say too much time was wasted on confusions... Either the film could have been shorter or it could have endured a longer, fuller story. Not a bad concept though.

Angela H (ru) wrote: God Grew Tired of Us by Jon Bul Dau and Michael S. Sweeney is an amazing documentary following a few of the Lost Boys of Sudan. I was amazed to hear their story of survival. Watching their long amazing journey the thousands boys experience is humbling to anyone who consumes simple daily luxuries such as safety and nourishment. A few young men are chosen to come to America for education and the ability to work. Their reactions to simple things such as electricity, refrigeration, food, and freedom are inspirational. Jon Bul Dau(TM)s character pierces the screen immediately causing viewers to create a bond. You are pulled in by Panther Bior(TM)s personality and optimism for the future; while Daniel Abol Pach(TM)s profound views of human nature are impressive. This movie opens understandings of humanity, inspiration, survival, and determination of the human spirit.Having teens I often tell them how good they have it and catch myself saying things like when I was your age? Originally, I watched this movie as a requirement for my universities Global Justice course. After seeing this film I immediately wanted to share it with my children in order give them an idea of the great vast of privileges they; we have as Americans. Being an approximately two hour movie and having other priorities during the semestier, I found myself referring to the film, describing instances instead of viewing it again, and besides, they are young teens; they don(TM)t want to sit for a two hour documentary, right.?! Well I was wrong. In fact they requested to see the film. To say the least I was surprised. This is what they wanted to spend our free time, besides, conveniently being at a time of Christmas; when receiving more than we need is tradition, it was a perfect time to share the film. The stories of the boy(TM)s experiences amplified the difference between need and want to their young minds; while enhancing gratefulness for family and responsible mortal consideration for others.
