Aaron M (br) wrote: Last Passenger is a gutsy thriller on a small budget punching above its weight making it a pleasant surprise. Involving a couple familiar but non house hold names, who perform admirably together on a film which isn't about the motives of the villain but about the victims. The suspense created here is mostly through solid character work, believable scenarios and relationships built on fear amid some really gripping scenes creating real tension. I feel the ending could have done with some work but overall this was a raw thriller which doesn't ride on glitzy hollywood action or cliches.

Thurman A (us) wrote: Terrific and mythopoeic! A Bill Bushing type of film!

Tim M (br) wrote: Really enjoyed this nice diversion. Would never had selected it had it not been previewed on another DVD. Nice little find. If you enjoy community theater, or a good love story, this hits the spot.

Miles H (us) wrote: Miracle is a movie about the U.S. hockey team with a thrilling back-story. It describes events leading up to their underdog victory against the Soviet hockey team--before that, the best hockey team in the world--in the 1980 Olympics. The coach, Herb Brooks (Kurt Russell), against all odds, beats every team they need to face the Soviets. I think people should watch this movie because of the plot, characters, and theme. The film Miracle has a great plot because it expresses that miracles can really happen. It is truly inspiring and fun even if you don't like the sport of hockey. It starts out with the coach trying to build a team out of some players that weren't as good as others were at hockey and they smoothly progress to the best team in the world. The characters in Miracle aren't individuals; they all work and react together. The coach, in some scenes, seems unsympathetic but, in a way, shows he is compassionate by saying he wants the team to work together to be the best they can. The team is affected greatly by this because in the beginning of the film, they had problems with other members and their hockey skills. In the end, they go from that to the fact that they work as a unit other than individuals. The coach picked the perfect players to put on that team. The United States is the land of opportunity and those players were meant to play the sport and the coach knew that. In one dramatic scene, he says, "I'm not looking for the best players. I'm looking for the right players." The characters make the movie better when they are all together and don't just give credit to individuals. This film is so much more than a hockey team winning the Olympics. The team practices hard and focuses on the goal while the coach focuses on his goal to have an Olympic-winning team. In some scenes, it seems from the coaches' perspective, but he is one of the things that make the team successful. The movie expresses teamwork and that "miracles can happen". People should definitely watch Miracle for the perfect plot, great teamwork with characters and actors, and the theme of teamwork that wraps that all together. This movie was one of Disney's best. The story is told with emotion in every scene. The actors did a great job playing their parts and expressing their emotions for their characters. In the end, it is a wonderful story when they come through it all to win the Olympics. It has an excellent ending and for the crew that worked on this movie, it was a miracle.

Alejandro D (us) wrote: I really love this movie. But it's a pretty terrible movie :p it's a fun movie though.

Scott A (ag) wrote: Movie was never boring but it got so stupid at times. Blood Surf refers to them surfing with poorly cgi sharks swimming around them. The three ladies of the film are all cuties and there is plenty of nudity. Some really cheesy death scenes...but good cheesy. And Duncan Regeher from Monster Squad, even joins the party.

Kyle S (gb) wrote: My favorite Disney movie as a kid. Good characters. Beautiful steam punk-ish world building.

Joe C (nl) wrote: Great movie, not one to watch with your parents.

Ann G (ru) wrote: Good stuff, but I wasn't as big a fan of Yosemite Sam as I was Elmer Fudd. He's absent. There are some great ones missing, like the one where Elmer Fudd has the spear and magic Helmet and Bugs Bunny conducts the opera. Other great ones are included, though.

Peter L (nl) wrote: Well done, the story takes you in unexpected directions, acting is good enough, soundtrack sounds very good!

Josh A (gb) wrote: This is by far one of my favourite movies. The soundtrack is so cool. The camera styles are very different and effective. Over all the whole movie is so 21st century gangster that it's cool. I rewatch the movie frequently and am desperately hoping for the sequel.

John A (br) wrote: In 1955 Hitchcock had done the unexpected by releasing a dark comedy. This quirky mystery surrounds the dead body of a man called Harry, & follows a small group of people disposing the body. A tremendously written piece, that features great performances, an excellent comedic tone & an excellent lighthearted quirky styled score by Bernard Herman. This unexpected film from the master of suspense is an extremely well made piece of classic cinema, that should not be overlooked. A mixture of dark comedy & romance done in a great way.
