D M (gb) wrote: A mandroid travels through time to test stuff for an evil scientist. When he's about to be dismantled, the cyborg escapes and looks for help in stopping some evil, or something. The robot-man finds a lady-scientist who is familiar with his design, so she follows him on his adventures as a sort of mechanic. They jetset to South America and into a "Romancing the Stone" type film. Now they have a ninja to help them on their quest. The evil scientist, now himself a mandroid, plans to travel to ancient Rome to become Caligula, or something. Actually, its better than its garbled story sounds because of interesting characters, fun dialogue, and typical 80s ultra-violence.

Nick W (jp) wrote: The movie was very odd and boring as well. The makers owe me one hour and twenty-four minutes of life. I can't believe I wasted my time watching this pointless and boring movie. It must have been put together by kindergartners.

jessica p (mx) wrote: What is wrong with idiot directors who can't keep the goddamn camera still?! Whatever minuscule amount of tension or fear you might have been able to create disappeared the moment you decided "yes! I'll balance on a pogo stick while I film these scenes! The audience won't be able to see what's happening but what the hell." Morons.

Marcelo M (us) wrote: Fantastic movie, and the guide's ukrainian accent is a great plus!

Ethan P (ca) wrote: Robert Downey Jr. does what he can, but Chaplin has no heart or ambition and doesn't at all show the fame or great influence Charlie Chaplin had on the world. It's just a bunch of random points, names and movies strung together in a huge mess.

Shawn W (ag) wrote: An Angel City cop from the 23rd century is sent back to 1985 to prevent a Trancer from killing the ancestors of the Ruling Council. Film was good enough for me not to recall dreadful memories of Mad About You that Helen Hunt would later star in.

Jonathan M (de) wrote: It may be directed by John Huston and star Paul Newman, but this is one forgettable pseudo-spy thriller that has nothing going for it. Essentially it is as bland as the grey drab of the 70s walls of every room this plot slumps through.

Lucas M (es) wrote: Barabbas is a beautiful work of Fleischer and Quinn. One of the most exciting and terrific Biblical films. Fresh.

bill s (jp) wrote: Easy to see why Cheadle wonderful performance was nominated for best actor and this movie is hard to watch but easy to appreciate.

Steve S (fr) wrote: *** (out of four) Rudolph Valentino's star was on the rise and this film helped solidify him as one of the leading actors of the silent screen era. And while it isn't his best film, it is good one. Valentino is a young man who wants to rise out of the poverty upbringing he had and provide a good life for his widowed mother. He becomes a bullfighter and soon a big celebrity. But he becomes tempted by a rich woman, which threatens his own marriage.

Eric B (es) wrote: Hilarious, raunchy, honest, almost plotless and existential with so many small, amazing moments.

Alex W (ru) wrote: Great Flick! Good story, solid cast. Gets a little weird when James Earl Jones shows up, but overall definitely worth a watch. Pac & Belushi make a good team.
