Tatsuhito K (mx) wrote: This type of movies have been done many times before, and it does feel melodramatic and cliched at times. It's one of those movies that could've gone so wrong and so creepy in an icky way, but it is Drake Doremus's naturalistic and intimate directing style that makes this movie watchable. Felicity Jones (god, I love her!) and Guy Pearce give strong performances, John Guleserian's cinematography skills are terrific as usual, and Dustin O'Halloran's beautiful score is an aural treat at its best. Breathe In wraps up the audience in the emotions of its characters. It's an emotional and heartbreaking drama that works rather well. I liked it!

Jamie C (jp) wrote: A good hooligan based film with a little tiny twist, For these sort of films the fight scenes were ok, The acting was poor but who watches this film for the acting, My only major downfall was how easy it was to like the cast they shouldn't be liked They're hooligans.

Psypher P (ca) wrote: If you squint really hard you can almost pretend it's the 80s over again and this hasn't been done a dozen times over. There's nary an original moment in the entire film and every stolen/purloined/homaged moment hasn't been done better but somehow the relentless tribute to teen flicks of yesteryear works. It's not outright hilarious but it is entertaining enough to sustain its length.

Amanda K (mx) wrote: It Was A Good Movie...Drew Fuller Is Sooo Hott!

jay n (jp) wrote: So much genuine talent wasted in this blah rather mean spirited purported comedy which has nary a laugh within. Watch only if you want to see many fine performers employed in a project beneath any of their talents.

Matthew J (de) wrote: ALF is one of the best TV shows ever made. The TV film is a cheap cop-out, made simply to tie up the cliffhanger of the show.
