Singing the Blues in Red

Persona Non Grata in his homeland, protest singer Klaus Drittemann must leave East Berlin, his wife and child and emigrate to West Berlin, where the representatives of an American record company are eagerly waiting for him. They plan to exploit his defection from communism both ideologically and financially. But Klaus, as ill-at-ease in the West as he was in the East, is reluctant to be used as an expendable commodity. Leaving his contract unsigned (or signed in his manner), he leaves for Cambridge to meet his father, a concert player, who -just like him - left East Berlin thirty years ago as Klaus was a little boy. Wendy D (au) wrote: Fantasy fictions movies are interesting, this type of movies are open to the world of imagination anything is possible and with proper justification, even the most unthinkable make sense within an appropriate framework. In this case, the struggle of the different classes, can reach such an epic and emotional expression as dark and evil plot that shows us Snowpierce. We all have a pre-established position that makes the order, if we skipped the balance of nature and chaos takes over the world; if you're shoe you should put yourself in the foot, not in the head. This theme is repeated, oppressed against oppressors, uprising against injustice, people's revolution, anarchist uprising, and the fall of the abusive power to hear the powerful voice of the repressed people. My feelings with this film are a bit contradictory, I have enjoyed as I watched and I liked the issues that they put on the table. But then there are several cons, which can differs depending on how the viewer faces the film.

Burt wasn't making very good movies by the late 80s but Malone is probably one on his better ones as he speaks softly & carries a big gun. Sorta outlandish as Reynolds takes a shot that looks like it blows out his kidney but somehow he recovers to finish the job..to kill everybody & blow the shit out of everything. You could do worse from a late 80s actioner & it has Tracey Walter in it (Miller from Repo Man) which adds points in my book

Garth D (ca) wrote: This should be listed under it's better title, "Dead Kids".Of course, with that title comes, I think, some expectations. And this movie was fucking boring. So maybe it SHOULD be listed under its generic title, Strange Behavior, so as not to raise any expecations.Oh well.
