Six Black Horses
Audie and Dan Duryea are hired by a mysterious woman to take her across Indian country to her husband. On route, she tries to seduce Audie by offering to give him Duryea's share of the money if he will help her achieve her real goal: kill Duryea for having killed her husband. Audie dreams of a getting enough money to buy a ranch of his own, but his loyalty to his friend prevails. In the end, Duryea is killed anyway by the Indians and gets his wish: a funeral carriage pulled by - you guessed it - six black horses.

I don't really like the point that this movie makes and the "plot" really didn't make any sense until the last 10 minutes of the film but I suppose it's a different point of view in the subject...

While the premise is interesting, the low budget execution, flimsy script (it seems to take a biblical eternity to get to the good stuff) and protagonist's constant demon-attracting sobbing had me rooting hard for the monsters from hell. Available via On Demand, iTunes and a few art house theaters who couldn't score better flicks during Oscar season. C-
(nl) wrote: Goes to great lengths to be a very ugly movie. Where other movies fade to black, this one fades out to a nasty mustard-yellow. There are moments of inspired stupid comedy, but the unpleasantness of the whole affair ruins the fun.
