Dirck d (gb) wrote: The beginning of the film is somewhat like the set-up for a Godzilla film, and one of the horrid kung-fu/disco/big-eyed Godzilla's at that. And then it goes weird in so many good ways it's hard to describe.

Dean H (gb) wrote: (110 minute Italian cut), oh and fuck Tarantino for taking the music.

Megan (us) wrote: It was okay for a little while... but then it just got too wacky for my taste, so I turned the channel. Haha. Cutting edge technology for the time- great work on the monsters and the witches!

Ayden R (au) wrote: The poorest parts of Burton's Batman meets City of Lost Children meets The Matrix, with a really really bad soundtrack and lots of Borg. Yet, somehow, it keeps your attention with a compelling trajectory.

Anthony G (jp) wrote: Not a bad movie, but a bit slow.

Andy B (it) wrote: 3.5/5-typical 80s coming of age film. i think what i enjoyed most was how totally politically incorrect the dialog was.

Scott S (us) wrote: Thrashin' (1986) -- [2.0] -- "Thrashin'" is the quintessential bad '80s movie. There's an anemic plot involving two warring skateboarding gangs and a boy who falls in love with the sister of a rival gang member. It's a goofy "Romeo and Juliet" on wheels, where none of the kids have parents and most of life's mysteries are answered with a good musical montage. Thrashin' is really just a term for 'extreme skateboarding'. If you're not into it, then don't watch the movie, because there's nothing else in this stinker worth diving for. Not even Josh Brolin. Brolin is a good actor today (he's even got an Oscar nomination under his belt), but in "Thrashin'" he's got the charisma and personality of a petrified turd.
