The makers couldn't seem to decide whether this was to be a movie against racism (like when the boys were riled by Greig's 'grovel' comment), or just the greatest, most-loved (by spectators) and most-feared (by the opposition) cricket team of all time. But who am I kidding. It's got the Windies ! And fast bowling ! And Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer ! How could I rate it anything less than five stars?

Bill B (au) wrote: This David Lynch film had been on my mind for quite some time, and I finally gave it a spin a few days ago to see how it held up. I have to say, I was really blown away by the way the stories wrap in and around one another, as a young ingenue turns up in LA to stay at her aunt;s house and finds an amnesiac woman staying there, hiding from persons unknown after a near fatal encounter on Mulholland Dr.This one definitely comes recommended.
Brandon S (gb) wrote: Say what you will about the always controversial transition from paper to celluloid, but this is a masterful piece of visual storytelling. Snyder is a brilliant composer of images and less a proprietor of character work, and that fact is generally what deters me from his work, his stunningly strong re-adaptation of DAWN OF THE DEAD notwithstanding. However, WATCHMEN has the added benefit of being based on one of the great literary works of all time, as well as an astounding cultural study and a study of human nature, using superheroes as the catalyst for that.
