DAWN S (br) wrote: This was quite a unique film. Not bad. I had a headache come on whilst watching it.....spooky

Steve R (fr) wrote: A fun US take on of the most famous icons of Japanese animation. Does a decent job at a Dreamworks-lite film for the family.

SyL L (kr) wrote: The line between a love comedy and a love tragedy, is completely blurred.

Andy P (gb) wrote: Excellent account of 4 Sudanese "lost boys" who escaped the inhuman trials and war in their home country. There were 27,000 boys who traveled 1,000 miles to Kenya. Only 12,000 made it. This movie effectively documents their acclimation to life in the USA. Wonderful study in human behavior and man's ability (or inability) to adapt.

Stephen E (gb) wrote: Homegrown is a harmless little comedy. It isn't spectacular, but it's off the beaten path and that usually makes for a good movie. It sags in a couple parts and writing isn't spectacular, but the characters are wacky and it's mildly enjoyable. If you're looking for a movie that doesn't fit in with the rest of the crowd, then look no further. Homegrown is your kind of movie.

EvaLena I (it) wrote: This was a thrilling movie. A woman is stuck in a marriage with a man that beat her. She joins a cocking class were she meets a man she fall in love with him but he is not what he seems to be.

Rawballs B (es) wrote: One of the weirdest sequel yet adorable movie continuation I've seen in my 22 years of existence!

Keith F (br) wrote: Played for laughs, ironically this film is probably the most faithful to H. P. Lovecraft's works I've seen. This was clearly an homage, not an opportunity to ride a bandwagon.

Eric J (ru) wrote: Better than I was expecting. Jimmy Smits was quite good as was Jane Fonda

Greg W (ag) wrote: OK remake of the paul newman 1958 pic, which I still prefer.

Tony P (es) wrote: What more can I say but an appalling waste of an hour. The film (dare I call it that) focuses on the goings on in an early eighties female borstal.Scum it ain't though. It makes an episode of Bad Girls series 6 look appealing.Rare highlights are Pam St Clement (who is best known as Pat Butcher in Eastenders) sporting a perm every bit as garish as Kevin Keegan had. She plays a warden in her element it would appear. A young and slimline Robbie Coltrane in the factory.

Eric R (gb) wrote: A German western! dealing with issues of racism and the dyfunctional family from hell. Great camera work and staging are great, which is typical for Fassbinder but its definetly one of his most bizarre films. One of Fassbinder's more underappreciated fims.

Clare W (ag) wrote: So, it's really quite sweet, but you'll know exactly how it works out within the first five minutes. Oh, and feminism is just something for other people... still, it's not a bad picture.

Kim M (us) wrote: This one was really fun! Just the right amount of humor, spookiness, tension, and gore. Very enjoyable and definitely added to my Xmas movie playlist.

Duncan R (it) wrote: Call me a creep, but there's only one reason why I want to see this. Morgan Freeman playing a pimp.
