Its flows quite well, obviously dated in the fashion sense, but has lots of nice signature touches, with the argument with the 2 girls simultaiously, being the best and most fun one. Both Denzel and Spike have star quality, not convinced by Snipes as the saxophonist with attitude. Samuel L Jackson as a debt collector hitman quite amusing, but the film for what it is, A loyally piece, a music piece, or whatever just goes on far too long, meandering into repetition. Decent though

Weak gags falling flat, unidimensional characters poorly acted, questionable directing, and flawed editing and story-line make this attempt at a fast paced comedy a dull and forgettable movie. I give a star for the effort and the acceptable writing, and half a star for the presence of a young, seductive Jennifer Tilly.

(mx) wrote: Not bad, definitely better than 5, glad this one did well.
