Nigel M (ru) wrote: Very well done. Concentrated on both the seedy side of his life which undoubtedly affected him and the lack of Telstar royalties due to lawsuit over its origins. Who knows how much bigger he might have been if he'd gotten hold of the cash earlier? Good soundtrack with very good performances from all round. Nice touched with Clem Cattini playing a chauffeur etc

Janeel F (us) wrote: Weird movie... The main character is really pathetic sometimes. The character ,Robbie, is probably the only reason why this movie worked for me.

Private U (mx) wrote: C'est horrible! Gutter trash! The director has absolutely no clue how to stage a scene let alone find a competent editor. All the actors are either D-grade celebs cashing a cheque or a B-grade actor attempting to be 'artsy' and cashing a cheque. It ain't funny or smart. And a lot of the scenes were overly staged. I felt like I was watching a home made movie some high school kid made.

Craig H (ru) wrote: I believe the words I'm looking for are ABSO-FRICKING-LOOTELY UNBELIEVABLE CRAP. In a tale ripped from the pages of antiquity, we have the heartwarming tale of a group of extreme athletes facing down a supposedly dead Balkan terrorist, all while filming a commercial somewhere in the Austrian Alps. With a description like that, how can you NOT immediately flush credibility right down the toilet? Directed by Christian Duguay (whose film "Screamers" I really liked), this film is repellently dumb and gives us yet another reason why the word 'extreme' is both over-used and worthless. Nothing redeeming about this picture at all, not even the gratuitous ogling of Bridgette Wilson. And there are some good actors in the film (in particular Rufus Sewell and Heino Ferch, who are both I'm sure trying to forget making this film). This movie must have been the moment where Hollywood woke up about Devon Sawa and realized, "Holy Cow! There's no way he can carry a film!" Any movie that has one of the heroines scream "Whoa!" when the bad guy gets his automatically gets 1 star. No exceptions. That it took not one, but THREE screenwriters to scrape this altogether is depressing as it is pathetic. Woodchuck sez, "This is what the X-Games have wrought. May God have mercy on our souls."

Amasa G (gb) wrote: This movie is wonderful on all fronts. Truly a masterpiece. It's not the kind that you talk too much about - you can only observe.

S Michael W (kr) wrote: Arnold Horseshack and Vinnie Barbarino turn to a like of crime in this botched heist turned family vacation road trip. While a bit slow in some spots and suspect to seventies editing lags (even though the film was completed in the late nineties due to the producer's bankruptcy), this is still a riveting crime suspense/drama featuring some tense moments, a truly surprising ending, and what could possibly be the most tastefully done scene of forced female urination ever filmed in Italian cinema.
