Sean W (jp) wrote: The Devil Inside is a mad hybrid of various different films, ranging from The Exorcist, to Blair Witch, to Paranormal Activity - with all the interest, terror and excitement of those films cast out like an unclean spirit. The film draws on so many other sources that it has trouble establishing its own identity.Another film attempting to cash in on the recent handy-cam craze, it is a faux-documentary that follows a woman trying to discover what went wrong in her mother's exorcism 20 years prior, which resulted in the deaths of three people and a life-long spell for her mother in an insane asylum.A fairly unoriginal, but decent enough premise. The film does actually make some interesting commentary on the bureaucracy of the Catholic Church, and contains one or two well-timed scares. But the film is let down by clichd jump-out-of-your-seat moments that you can see coming from a mile away, like the unexplained orchestral booming noise that occurs whenever the camera looks at something scary, and a ridiculously abrupt ending that stops the film dead in its tracks. If you're gonna go with the whole "found-footage" thing, you have to keep it discreet. It's dangerous to show too much, whereas the likes of Blair Witch and Paranormal Activity did mostly suggestion work. Hell, even Cloverfield didn't let you see too much of the monster. The Devil Inside just keeps throwing too much in your face, and it becomes predictable.

Jose P (ru) wrote: An author writes a book about his life, and the book gets turned into a movie, so a documentary film crew decides to document the story, by showing the movie, interviewing the cast, and the author. Completely and utterly bizarre in a "House of Leaves" kind of way, and has some of the most compelling pacing of any movie I've ever seen. I really did not want to watch it, but I couldn't get away. So consider this a warning: if you want some free time, don't let this be on the TV.

Becs D (us) wrote: Nothing out of the ordinary, half of the film is spent pretty much doing the same thing

Ali S (ag) wrote: Find Love feels unscripted and real. The dialogue, cinematography and subtlety of plot make it feel this way. These are all good things. However, I'm not quite convinced that these people have found love. The acting, while respectable, isn't great. And the chemistry between these two actors is certainly lacking. Not good when it comes to a romance film. So, for this reason it loses points with me.Otherwise, I thought it explored some interesting themes and was entertaining.

Private U (us) wrote: Story really interesting but really true to history. Good acting but sad it wasn't really historical.

Altered E (ag) wrote: "Deadly Prey" is a Rambo clone even lighter on plot. The schizophrenic dialogue is the highlight, but the homoerotic undertones throughout make this one worth watching and heckling.

Olivier B (mx) wrote: Zack Snyder brings us a zombie movie that's better than many zombie movies actually, with over-the-top action sequences and with some original moments. The first 10 minutes and the last half-hour are outstanding!

Lee M (it) wrote: Like so many of the works of Williams, it deals with tension, with repression, with awakening, and, ultimately, with disintegration. If it weren't for Page's luminous performance, there would not be much to recommend the movie.

Spencer H (nl) wrote: 47 Ronin is boring, the only good thing it has is Keanu Reeves, but even he's boring in this movie.

Ilja S (ru) wrote: Bad Boys II only major issue is its two and a half hour runtime. But it still manages to improve in some points on the first movie. More story, more jokes, and (of course) more boom. Dull, but highly entertaining fun action.

Pavandeep S (nl) wrote: A very interesting film from Coppola. Does not deserve the bad reviews it got and this was a visually intriguing film that will linger in your mind to solve the rather violent and bizarre ending. I loved the flow as it hit the last part of the film, with past, fiction and present all playing into a dysfunctional story.
