Quickie-mart employee Melissa and paraplegic Richie are very much in love. Supported only by Melissa’s small hourly wage, they are nevertheless thrilled to learn that Melissa is pregnant. (mx) wrote: This movie was better than I expected. It won 3 Oscars (one of which went to Cher for best actress) and was nominated for Best Picture. While I didn't "LOVE" it, it was still very enjoyable to watch.
