(it) wrote: Good cast, but lackluster storyline. Aubrey Plaza and Rachel Bilson had great chemistry. Wish there were more scenes with them. The rest of the cast did a pretty good job with a subpar story. If this was supposed to be the female version of American pie it feel way short. There were a couple laughs, but nothing really noteworthy. I was really hoping for more given all the comedic people in this movie.

The plot is torn right out of today's headlines dealing with Muslims disaffection for their plight when they wander west to start new lives. This one takes place in London, has great acting and plenty of action. A thoughtful film, exploring the psychological abandonment experienced by those who want parity with generations of Anglos withiin one or two generations. Shines a light on motivation of young extremists, and the why of their situation. The obvious differences been Muslin and Christian culture are so vast, they may never coexist in harmony in the same geographical space.

(it) wrote: "Bang Rajan" tells the story of a Thai village's epic, if ultimately futile, five-month stand-off with the invading Burmese army in 1765. Like most Thai films, "Bang Rajan" benefits from a high action quotient. Its battle sequences are gruesome. It also suffers, unfortunately, from another common element in Asian action cinema: the sentimental subplot that is destined to end in tragedy. Here we get to watch two loving couples that we just know are going to die long before they do go through their annoying romantic paces, slowing the film down considerably. "Bang Rajan" would be a much better film if it were 20 to 30 minutes shorter. That said, it's still effective.
