Megan P (kr) wrote: Riddled with misinformation, misrepresented facts, and downright lies from start to finish, I'm surprised anyone would actually fund or release it. Not only is he completely thoughtless and never considers the permanent harm he could be inflicting on himself, he films others in the nude without their consent, and even seems to mock the activities he takes part in.

A bunch of mma fighters from ufc turn up to add a bit of star power with little acting talent to back them up. Yep you guessed it, its pretty rubbish with only the fight scenes making this at all watchable.

Patrick B (ru) wrote: This indie movie reminds of those old tragedies like Shakespearean trageties. The pace is so mellow that when it flips on you you are totally caught off guard. It turns from that staple of boy outcast wanting to be cool to a clusterfuck in a matter of minutes. John Patrick Amedori and Lizzy Caplan are amazing in the lead roles, the other actors only add to the drama a few nuggets while they completely steal the show.

Joseph C (mx) wrote: Your trying to avoid being throne in a jail cell with Jared Fogle when you watch this. It's a very ambitious project and a very...interesting plot but it's just all yuck. I don't wanna see kids doing this crap. I know it happens but really? Really? The acting is pretty good for kid actors ans Rosario Dawson was brought into the acting spotlight and would later go on to do rent. Other wise it's just yuck.

Jens S (es) wrote: Spielberg's classic UFO film is the blueprint for the barely used naive, optimistic alien encounter genre. The reason why very few movies after this one even went this direction and rather blew up the White House instead is simply that it can't get any better than this. Starting out wonderfully mysteriously and disturbing, sometimes even scary, the film soon concentrates on Dreyfuss' character's own approach to the things he saw on the night sky and his visions to culminate in nothing less than the biggest Christmas three ball of movie history. This film simply combines all the assets of Spielberg's early work perfectly. Even the special effects still look pretty good 30 years later, maybe excluding the aliens. And John Williams' melody went down in pop culture history. A masterpiece.

Andy W (gb) wrote: Mind numbingly bad. Where do I begin. EVERYTHING was terrible! Yikes. How does a movie like this get made?! Seriously, this looks like an Ed Wood production except "Plan 9 from Outer Space" was much better than The Devil's violinist.

Jeri P (jp) wrote: I can't believe I had never seen this. It's dated and cheesy, but it's funny and makes me nostalgic. I love all the fashion styles and music.

Nick C (ca) wrote: The Ones Below is, what I call, a riveting chiller! It's a movie that has an intriguing premise and delivers some great tension and thrills along the way.
