Naoya K (us) wrote: Kaurismaki's latest. In spite of its short runtime and seemingly undramatic impression, this film is actually a totally terrific and well-well-well-planed piece. What Kaurismaki does in it is to create a real man's life in a picture. The hero of this film is someone who will never be one in anybody's film but Kaurismaki's, that is to say, a loser (in its true sense), and I've never seen any other film that depicts a man's loneliness as vivid, flesh, true, and sincere as this film. Kaurismaki is, I think, the only filmmaker who has reached the closest point to have a god's eye among all the filmmakers still alive today. What he does in this film is truely miraculous.

Tom G (es) wrote: One of my all-time favorites. Visually - it is a masterpiece, but the awful script gives it the feel of 5 different short movies put together. But to me it's one of those things that's so bad it's good. The first part being the absolute best.

Daniel P (mx) wrote: Surprisingly good, and was more impressed until I learned this came out in 1997 not mid to late 80's

The Phantom C (es) wrote: Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia is highly unorthodox and compelling.

Edgar C (ag) wrote: Brutal. Every action has its re-action. Demons and destiny lurking in the darkest corners waiting for their helpless human prays to be devoured by an entire field of mysteries and inescapable doom. It is noticeably impactful and graphic for its time, yet the movies that surpass any given censorship standard and retain their shock value decades later almost always can be immediately defined as cornerstone masterpieces. This one ranks among the top supernatural horror "monogataries". 99/100.

Sublime.

Gabriel C (br) wrote: Horrible Bosses is wildly uneven and derivative, yet Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis have surprisingly believable chemistry.

Carlos G (kr) wrote: The best part of the movie was Lebron James.
