Emily C (de) wrote: I remember this on the news and the outrage the average American all over the nation had toward the actions taken against these scientists. Tragic how this all went down. A lesson learned and still being learned by people, always get the signature of contract, there is no such thing anymore as the gentlemen's handshake. I do not have a distaste for how this documentary was packed for time allotted. well done I believe.

John P (ru) wrote: Tries too hard and lacks in any compassion. The type of film where you don(TM)t really care what the ending is because the main character is so unlikable in every way.
Briain d (nl) wrote: Mall Cop is exactly what I expected. A screwball, brainless, but funny comedy. There is no deep, dark theme or message in this film and that's fine. I wasn't expecting one. What's disappointing, however, is that the comedy is unoriginal and boring, despite the interesting premise of a supermarket security man. Particularly with the talent of Kevin James (well known from the show, King of Queens), Mall Cop could have been an excellent film. Unfortunately, it's only average and thus quite forgettable. However, James himself gives a committed and exciting performance. He does his best to squeeze whatever entertainment value he can out of the materials given to him and he thus a relatively good job for most of the film. Kevin James is one of those actors one can't help but like, regardless of what role he's in. Paul Blart certainly isn't the most interesting or fulfilling role he could have taken, but James makes this film a watchable, if not groundbreaking, picture.

Laimis Z (de) wrote: it goes way too far. still this pseudo-documentary is so shocking that i would not be surprised if some called it a horror film. 40years old and still quite relevant. surprising how "current" this actually is. its very political. people abuse their power. nothing new there yet very disturbing
jeroen v (ca) wrote: Good example of how some movies from the 60-ies and 70-ies have dated beyond their own good. Very strange to listen to Mirren talk in this one, a weird strangled working class accent that definately is not hers. Best watched with German dubbing as it looks and feels exactly like eurotrash movies from the same era.
HM F (ca) wrote: Sentimental ode to our 16th president sports an unforgettable performance by Henry Fonda as the title hero. I dare you to imagine Lincoln as anyone else other then Fonda after watching this movie. The film adds allot of earthy dimension to Lincoln; just as likely to split a log as he is to engage in more intellectual pursuits.

Wesley W (ru) wrote: Just a really generic and forgettable movie. With this film, you can see that there is nothing memorable or great about what you see on screen and it does feel like a rushed cash grab. It has a talented cast (except Megan Fox) and I thought the movie started off well but as it went on, the plot became more and more generic and predictable. Josh Brolin does add credibility to the film and he does what he can with its weak writing, and Megan Fox here just makes for a bland actress and plays a completely pointless character who is only cast just because of her looks and her and Josh Brolin have zero chemistry on screen. John Malkovich played an ok villain here, but this isn't one of his better movies. Some of the action I thought was entertaining, but when the cgi showed at times I thought it looked cheap. I have never read the Jonah Hex comic books, so I wouldn't know if the movie follows the source material well or just craps on it. In the end, there is nothing much else to say about this other than I didn't think it was completely terrible and that if you want to see a much better western film that came out the same year as this, watch True Grit.
