Zdravko P (jp) wrote: Man, one of Woody Allens best I've seen so far (I'm making it a goal to see as many as i can before i perish) How do we begin? Woody Allen plays a neurotic...umm.....Woody Allen stars as Woody Allen the writer. Characters ga-FUCKING-lore man, lot's of hysterical women.. the scene in hell was the best. Woody Allen films (the ones i've seen ofcourse) are never really hysterical and i think that's the point.. I would just like to see the world through his eyes..that's all.

The S (jp) wrote: The most ambitious and fanciful of the original trio of Harry Palmer films, this might easily be confused with a James Bond movie. Caine is as good as ever but the down-to-earth Palmer seems to have ascended to a level that his prevoius incarnations would have been uncomfortable with. Cast and locations are excellent.

Angela P (jp) wrote: I was kind of indifferent to Ginger Rogers until I saw her in this movie. I absolutely loved her in it.

Dave H (it) wrote: need to see all the carry on films still.

Andrew S (es) wrote: This movie promises so much, and delivers so little.Excellent premise for a movie but the whole execution of it fails. I've even given it a whole star just for the last 10 minutes of the film.

Aaron Q (ag) wrote: I definitely wouldn't say this is a good movie, but it was really fun. Imagine a cross between The Matrix, if it were made in the early 90s with a really low budget, and Army of Darkness. A lot of classic Bruce Campbell-esque one-liners are missing, which is unfortunate. The story is weird enough and the gore is cheesy and plenty enough to make this a really hilarious, enjoyable watch.

Ian C (fr) wrote: Set at such a slow pace and nothing really happens but Kotcheff really knows how to create tension out of nothing. Donald Pleasence is chilling as Doc and Gary Bond is immense as the clean cut school teacher caught up in the madness surrounding the Yabba social life. Kangeroo scene is hard to watch. That aside a stunning film.
