Alex S (jp) wrote: I honestly can't see what people think is so great about this movie. It started out well enough, and seemed enjoyable, but as the plot progressed it was got confusing and ultimately nose-dived into an anti-climatic finish. What was the point of this film? Unfortunately I'm not able to tell you. It took a left turn about half-way through and never got back on course. The only reason I'm giving it the extra half-star is because of the former half. Other than that, skip this film; it's not likely to live up to your expectations.

It centers on Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) looking forward into spending his summer vacation playing video games, but at the same time he's also trying to obtain his high school crush's phone number, but humiliating and awkward moments keep happening to him as a result. And this is just the tip of the bucket as he avoid being his dad's intern just so he can go tot he country club. This movie, since I've only just seen the one is only intentioned to those who're fans of the "Nickelodeon" channel or Hannah Montana or other programs that are intended for young adults or young children. Majority of the situations are pretentious and hardly unlikely but is possible if it's shown in the form of a film.1 star out of 4
