I felt mostly that its goal as a film is to have the emphasis of tackling the spiritual end but balances out with temporal frustration, and physical stress since it shows both ends of all those involved including the abductors. The Saratov Approach is by far one of it's kind in all the movies made about LDS missionaires. Check it out...

William M (ca) wrote: Odd movie but interesting writing, more of a movie made for a film festival than for release. if you are looking for a pointless off the wall movie here ya go.

Inta K (ru) wrote: nice thriller movie, good story, nice performance.

Keith C (it) wrote: Really well done documentary, horrifying at times but with an uplifting underlying theme.

Carlos I (jp) wrote: Pretty rad sequel. I used to think this was the weakest of the series, but it's actually pretty solid. and it had MEW. how can one not like that...?!

Paul M (es) wrote: Not as enjoyable as I had hoped although given the subject matter enjoyable might be the wrong word. It does however deliver some sick movie moments as and has a few funny bits.

Michael W (ag) wrote: Modern day Romeo & Juliet set against heated gangwar between Little Italy and Chinatown in NYC--a place clearly lacking any kind of police presence with store bombings, gang killings and machine gun rampages the norm. Pretty stylish direction from Abel Ferrera.

Alex G (gb) wrote: Beautifully creative and original. Unpredictable madness at its most interesting and well-crafted. Stuart Gordon and Jeffrey Combs are at the top of their game with this picture.

Jamison R (fr) wrote: A silly but interesting movie about a guy who fakes being black to get a scholarship. Definitely some bad humor but also some real funny parts.

Shawn W (mx) wrote: The Kiss-inspired band The Clowns are rising rock stars with live shows that push the envelope by cutting up dummies on stage. Crowd violence has injured two bouncers already. With someone killing the band's groupies, their manager knows how to take the edge off the situation - booze, drugs, and loose women. Director Don Edmonds of Ilsa fame goes with an economical all-rookie cast, the most famous of which became the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. The Clowns were played by an actual band called The Names, who never made it big but sound alright.

Steven J (ca) wrote: Few people can do what David Lynch did with his debut. Creepy and unsetteling, Eraserhead is a surreal masterpiece that really deserves it's classic status.

Joey W (ca) wrote: Talk about a trip. Bakshi's use of live action footage is just wild, from simple backgrounds to stange and outragous. A great film, but those who don't know what they're getting into will be suprised, and possibly not pleasently. But I say it's a nice ride.

David M (kr) wrote: I'd be lying if I said the twist near the end didn't have me stumped, then again my brain always struggles to root for characters after spending 45 minutes convinced they are the bad guys. I was still on Cliff & Cydney's side even in the disappointing climax lols. The most impressive thing about this movies is the backdrop, it's nothing short of spectacular (Hawaii looks divine).
