It will lose most people in the first hour. The academic advisor character will make a more convincing argument than the other view. One thing I did get out of it is how the science world has not caught up with the facts of the bible. Many view it as the other way around. If this is a tool for convincing others it does a poor job. Really not worth watching. I did enjoy seeing Earnest Borgnine in a movie but his performance was poor as well.

Tommy Lee Jones is a cop she falls for. Lots of red herrings and lame plot points get in the way of John Carpenter's original script, which was about the line between what we create and the way we see.
