(nl) wrote: Wes Anderson might be my favorite director. Each film he creates is beautifully quirky but also heartfelt and down to earth. The Royal Tenenbaums is no different. Charming and funny, the film is a lovely dysfunctional family tale with heart and humor to spare. Not much really happens and the pacing is a bit uneven, but for anyone who loves films and loves family really should give it a try. Rating: 82

(mx) wrote: A really good movie about journalism. I was a bit confused at times with all the laws and journalism jargon, though. But, the actors are good, the story is exciting, and it's a really interesting movie.
(nl) wrote: Refreshing version of the Dick Turpin story and probably one of the racier Carry Ons.
(fr) wrote: John Wayne, and Robert Mitchum were absolutely amazing in this movie
(kr) wrote: I enjoyed it very much; it made for what I thought was a good, honest portrayal of the fandom, which helped explain in a clear, understandable fashion why so many people from all walks of life have been entranced by this show without sugarcoating things, either. John de Lancie, Michael Brockhoff, Laurent Malaquais, and all the rest did an excellent job with this documentary, and deserve high praise for the result. Particularly impressive were the (very appropriately, considering the immensely creative nature of the fandom) fan-made animated sequences interspersed throughout the documentary, which were both hilarious and of excellent quality.
