A mother obsessed with mind-altering televangelism consequently vomits a pulsating growth that slithers down the throat of her son during the night. Upon spewing the parasite, the son is driven by an uncontrollable force to murder and feed corpses to the now-multiple-toothed monsters manifesting throughout the house. This gory, shot-on-Super-8 regional rarity is a micro-budget salute to H.G. Lewis and H.P. Lovecraft. — Evan Husney, Drafthouse Films

(gb) wrote: Okay as a gaudy, softcore exploitation flick -- but I expected this to be mid-'70s at the latest, not 1996. That's part of the charm, I guess. It's usually not very funny (if I'm being totally honest), but it's creative and skillfully scripted for the most part, which is a bit of a surprise.

(br) wrote: as good as it gets - predicts the corporate rock scene where money is the only goal in perfect fashion, take the art and exploit it and never give the artists any credit - perfect music and funny too.
(fr) wrote: Oh, my God. This movie is unbelievable. A trio of big-breasted (of course!) female drag racers murder a man, kidnaps his young girlfriend and hide out in ranch with a crippled misogynist keen on some raping. The film is intentionally super campy and is filled with so many clever lines and innuendoes that I think you have to watch it more than once to catch them all. This can also be read as some sort satire on feminism and gender politics Is it pro-feminist or anti-feminist? Who knows? It's still trashy B-movie stuff fun made the old-fashioned way.
(ru) wrote: Even the unwavering support of a good woman can't keep three-time loser from straying to crime. Prison depicted as a nice place; with friends, checkers and ball games. This Fritz Lang film seems dated now with simplistic characters.
(es) wrote: A touching movie that holds up over time. Excellent acting by Nicholson, Kennear, Gooding and Hunt. Even the bit parts are standouts - in particular, Ulrich displays depth and conveys a range of emotion in his short time on screen. The story is funny, sad and touching without skittering into melodrama.
(br) wrote: It's not some sort of masterpiece, and far, far from it, but red planet is a fun movie. 56/100
(br) wrote: This is good cop thriller of what Burt Reynolds ever made. It's exciting, suspenseful, funny, and intelligent, so good it joins 48 Hrs., Dirty Harry, and Tightrope as the best of the genre.
