(mx) wrote: It's not as charming as A Brony Tale and the cartoon segments can be a little distracting, but Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of My Little Pony does offer more details about the Brony fandom that I did not know and it's still informative and entertaining enough to please Bronies and people curious to learn more about the Brony phenomenon!
(es) wrote: Mixing eroticism and Satanic creepiness, Here Comes the Devil is a stylish and unique blend of horror elements that doesn't quite cohere into the great film that it hints at being. There are a lot of great moments, but overall the film feels underwhelming. Its style and promising storyline are never fully developed on a visceral enough level to make the film truly memorable. Still, Here Comes the Devil is another interesting and original effort from director Bogliano, someone I will definitely keep watching.

(de) wrote: Cool alien thriller movie starring Elle fanning and some fandom kids, the kids in this movie including Elle fanning do a good job, I like how they feel and act in this atmosphere of war and the evacuation of their home just because of a dumb alien that is pretty much a rip off of et but isn't as bad as you think, but the effects of the Alien are a little cheesy, it looks like the monsters in clover field. And I also like the connection between the children and their parents, but that didn't have to be in the movie, to me it was a waste of time but some people want an insider to the character. This movie didn't click like I wanted it to be, but in the end it's a cool idea for a movie but it's more like et but for an older audience.

(us) wrote: This is an amazing character piece directed by Darren Aronofsky. This whole film works because of Mickey Rourke, he doesn't just play Randy "The Ram" Robinson he becomes him. This is easily Mickey Rourke's best performance of his career. Marisa Tomei is great in this film as well. This film will have you cheering for Randy because you feel so bad for his character. Who was once upon a time a big time wrestling star in the 80's who is now struggling to pay rent. He is alone and even admit that he sucks in the real world and that the only world he knows is in the ring. Definitely check this movie out it is a great character piece.
(nl) wrote: a fun b movie. an astronuat is brought back to life via an eerie surgery scene by bug eyed aliens. literarly bug eyed. though they look ridiculous (imagine the martians from Invaders From Mars except not colored green and sporting the eyes of Judge Doom from Roger Rabbit) the aliens intentions are quite evil and creepy. giant roaches always disturb me.
(de) wrote: "Hardly worth watching" The Original film "Funny Girl" is far superior to this. I don't think they should have made a sequel. I liked Barbara when she was just starting out and this film does not live up to being a sequel. Rather dull and at the time when this came to the box office in 1975 "musicals" themselves were not a hit.

And it never comes or it seems to but it doesn't really. And so you spend your time in vague regret or vaguer hope that something good will come along. Something to make you feel connected, something to make you feel whole, something to make you feel loved. And the truth is I feel so angry, and the truth is I feel so fucking sad, and the truth is I've felt so fucking hurt for so fucking long and for just as long I've been pretending I'm OK, just to get along, just for, I don't know why, maybe because no one wants to hear about my misery, because they have their own. Well, fuck everybody. Amen. "
