Mercer M (br) wrote: I like the casting and it is a good conservative effort. Falls flat on some parts but it does bring some fresh laughs and gives a new perspective on the right wing side.

Markus S (de) wrote: Excellent film, West and Savane are very good in this, Bahrani is a director to watch.

kyler c (ag) wrote: its pretty good its distubing seens are pretty giggity but mostly painis cause it takes to long

Juan R (ca) wrote: A fantastic film not only celebrating the value of casual conversation, but humanizing the celebrities, and rock stars to a level where they in themselves are not the untouchable beings we imagine them in tabloids, and magazines. in this film, the celebrities become normal people having some coffee and cigarettes. Iggy Pop, Bill Murray, and Jack white among others, these icons of popular culture become dissolved into the rest of the world in this film. this is the grimy, boring, but somehow humorous nature of Coffee and Cigarettes

Joe C (mx) wrote: I never expected to see a sequel and especially not only 3 years after the first film. i have to share the opinion of the general critic consensus and say this was a messy sequel that still had it's funny parts but slowly became more and more predictable. I enjoyed it though.

Kathleen C (de) wrote: Such a good film, one of Penn's best.

Art S (fr) wrote: Jonathan Demme's directorial debut is an exploitation film, no doubt about it. But it holds up pretty well and is a bit more engaging than most similar fare - not that I've seen too much. As far as Women in Prison films go, Caged (1950) with Eleanor Parker has got to be the pinnacle - but that was more of a serious problem pic than a go-for-broke B-picture. What more can be said? The trials and travails of a bunch of ladies in the slammer, with loads of gratuitous nudity, some violence (and fake blood), a couple of lobotomies and some shock treatment, a few gals in solitary, a breakout, a repressed and sadistic warden (Barbara Steele!), and some truly 1970's low budget cars, clothes, and hairstyles. Apparently John Cale wrote the soundtrack (!). Amiable and fun, not sordid and lurid.

Alex K (fr) wrote: My Favorite Film Is 1941's Citizen Kane.

Armando B (ru) wrote: First of all Melissa George is so beautiful, and a great actress. The movie was good, suspenseful and creepy, keeps you on the edge, acting was believable the plot was not your usual scenario and was a nice change of pace. Great movie to watch. As that being said for this being a good suspense movie for a low budget film, I give " The Betrayed " a C.
