A compilation of 60s films on the bomb and what to do when under nuclear attack. From a 21st century perspective, 'Duck and Cover' and other public safety propaganda from the 60s appears naive and misguided.

Jenn T (es) wrote: Acting just sucks. The idea isn't crap and the filming isn't bad but the acting is just so bad you can't watch it.

Sebastian T (ag) wrote: Another great Bakshi animated feature. It's super sociological and political like his others and caused quite a stir when it came out. Idiots lke Al Sharpton made ignorant assumptions about the content of the film being racist without even seeing it in the first place. Anything that pisses that guy off makes me happy and besides, Barry White does one of the voices!

Brett B (mx) wrote: One of the best of the Amicus anthologies. There is a nice variety to the stories presented, the production design is highly atmospheric, and Cushing is beyond creepy in his role as a shady antiques dealer.

Daniele F (kr) wrote: Have no idea why this film was ever made. A completely depraved film that has no reason of being. Perhaps one of the worst films I have seen in the last decade. Not sure how I discovered this but wish I hadn't. How did this get an average score of 7.1?

Adara S (ag) wrote: What's not to love? It's an action flick, not Shakespeare. The dialogue is awful, the characterizations are laughable, the explosions are cool, and Stallone is a hunky piece of eye candy as usual, totally compensating for his lack of acting ability. Don't read too much into this. Just sit back and enjoy the cliches!
