Thomas S (mx) wrote: The first two minutes of the film Joaquin Phoenix's character makes a weak attempt at sucide... You spend the remaining 98 minutes cursing his weakness. I am glad the loser he plays is not played "full retard". But he plays it well enough that makes it TOTALLY unbelievable that either of the "Two Lovers" would be interested in him... Don't get it at all... And I did like "Her".

Liam G (br) wrote: alright so its not brilliant, but iv seen much MUCH worst. the god awful lazy arsed TV directing lets it down as much as the terrible acting in but id be lying if I said i wasn't interested int he plot that had a lot more to it than the synopsis lets on.

Bill W (ca) wrote: Admittedly the special effects in this are ultra cheesy. In spite of that this film is still really good and it achieves its high rating in the story, writing and characters. It's like someone said, "Let's combine King Kong and Godzilla and trash London." I wasn't going to reveal the twist but it's in the trailer. The twist here is that the huge monster they catch and put on display is the little one.

Emma T (us) wrote: Loved this film!. Ginger is so good at comedy and she steals the show. Her growing love for the baby is so adorable and her relationship with Niven is portrayed brilliantly well with equal amounts of comedy and cuteness. The scenes where they make up their own language and when Niven tries to return the duck are hilarious.

Shawn W (au) wrote: Another fine production from John Hughes. To me, this film is made by the Jeffrey Jones' efforts as the Dean of Students to put a "serious dent" in Ferris' future for cutting class. Ferris seems to be a bit of a sociopath but film still works. Love the depiction of the high school teachers in this.
