Jude P (gb) wrote: All critics sucks ! They always have some ego problem with Stephen King's work and no doubt it unleash upon his work. A typical King's suspense / mind-blowing thriller. It resonates even after 25 years.

Sanity Assassin (br) wrote: well done to dick richards coz i've never seen ian holm really act and the director fucking made him in this! terence hill did a bit of larking about, said a few lines and catherine deneuve just looked pretty but despite all that richards with a bit of help from hackmans accomplished acting skills still managed to get the film to work quite well infact

Lawrence W (us) wrote: Brando is miscast. Paul Ford provides some funny moments as the blustery Colonel Purdy.

Nguyen Thuy H (au) wrote: They totally could have done away the part where the guy was burnt, or I don't know, they could have foreshadowed it, right?

Carlos G (kr) wrote: Sci fi futuristic action movie. Bad effects and poor dialogue make it average. Will smith is always good though.

Allan C (es) wrote: Routine John Wayne western is rather forgettable except that it's one of the few times that The Duke played a real life person, John Chisum, who was part of the infamous Lincoln County War, which is where Billy the Kid gained notoriety. Directed by journeyman director Andrew V. McLaglen, the action is competent if unspectacular. The only real reason to watch the film is for the handsome production values and a solid case that includes Wayne, Forrest Tucker, Christopher George, Ben Johnson, Richard Jaeckel, John Agar and Hand Worden.
