Carl M (br) wrote: Scott W. Mckinlay has seen one too many Troma movies... And we mean that in the best possible way! CREEP VAN is an outrageous, over-the-top splatterfest that throws back to the glory days of the 1980's. The absurdity of each kill is only exceeded by the ridiculous amount of bloody gore as the Creep Van bisects unsuspecting thieves, bashes brains in, and mows down anyone that gets in its way. Oh, and there's even a bit of a plot squeezed in there, too. Campbell is down on his luck after moving back from the city, so he takes a job at the car wash while saving up for a new car. Unfortunately for him, the only car he can afford is THE CREEP VAN! Cue the emphatic music. CREEP VAN is crass, vulgar, and utterly tasteless from the very start, making no attempt to hide its sleazy B-movie roots with its many in-jokes and cameos. Thankfully, it's all in good fun, and the stupid humor equals plenty of guilty laughs. It's time to buckle in for a gory good time with CREEP VAN!

Dave S (es) wrote: These guys love their Scrabble. The four central characters are very interesting to watch as their whole lives are seemingly devoted to the board game. Some of them use the tournaments as a primary source of income... Crazy how good they are, and how important Scrabble is in their lives.

Augustine H (mx) wrote: I will consider it a good film adaptation of a famous musical. Rob Marshall is in good shape here and handles everything well, unlike his later joke-alike "Nine". Renee Zellweger, John C. Reilly and Richard Gere are all good, but Catherine Zeta-Jones is the best! Well-deserved for the Oscar.
Kevin P (de) wrote: While not my favorite Wes Anderson movie, this is nonetheless an effective capture of human awkwardness and dramatic irony; complete with the charismatic cast and unique cinematography that are infamous in Wes Anderson movies.
Jesse Z (ag) wrote: A movie that balances a fine line of empathy for its characters while also highlighting their disturbances. This works in the context that it's actually based on a true story and thus makes you think rather than having that as a tagline to make you buy a ticket. Dark, mesmerizing and introspective, even for the filming standards of 1994.

Andreas O (es) wrote: Another great entry in the Hammer Dracula cycle, this time with the count seeking revenge for a slain servant. Dracula's motivation in this comes across as a little weak, but with Lee in the role you don't really mind. Unfortunately, Lee is given less room to shine in this, with his dialogue severely reduced. Still, it's an awesome movie.
