Heather M (kr) wrote: This movie looks absolutely horrible.

Alex K (de) wrote: I Like Gene Hackman.

Kenny S (jp) wrote: Another MST3K classic. Terrible 80s sci-fi film with all the standards: bad acting, writing, directing, editing.

Gregor W (de) wrote: Leslie Nielsen. What else needs to be said. Funny and enjoyable movie. To bad they don't make them like that anymore.

Gabriel H (es) wrote: I only rated it that high because of Jacobi and Branagh. The movie really felt like some pop romance novel, only good for women on a long plane trip.-----------*spoiler alert (who cares)?*----------The whole idea of some pre-teen boy developing an obsession and lifelong vendetta against a woman who was married to a man his mom ha a crush on is absurd. I mean, who's ever killed someone because they made it so their mother wasn't getting banged. And why does Derek Jacobi always have a stutter!

Steve J (kr) wrote: I have to say, I've seen a lot of shitty films in my time, but this one could very well be the absolute worst. And I mean, THE WORST. There isn't a funny moment to be found in the entire film. Ostensibly an adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's novel Slapstick, this is really, all told, a pile of garbage. A huge, stinking, rotten pile of garbage. Watching this movie made me wish the world would end. Even MADELINE FREAKING KAHN couldn't save it. Just...WOW!!!!!!!

Christopher D (br) wrote: I had no idea that a film was adapted from this book. ... Huh.

Diana D (fr) wrote: One of those few times where the movie is better than the book.

Michael T (mx) wrote: Boring "Night of the Living Dead" rip-off.

Paul D (jp) wrote: This movie has not aged very well, however, it still has several moments that still make me laugh. Decent enough 80's film, but not overly great.
