David P (ca) wrote: Its decent but definitely worse then what it could have been. Kevin James shines quite well in this movie as the main protagonist but the movie lacks a lot of humor and some storytelling in it. They are a few well-done thought-provoking moments and several good laughs but it takes longer to get to them. Most of the movie's semi-success does rest on the character of Kevin James.

"Love the Beast" is able to do this to a point. I didn't gain much understanding as to the thrill of car racing, but in the end I did care about the well being of the car. The documentary, directed by Eric Bana, follows the actor's love of racing, especially the love for his car which he has had since he was a teenager. It feels like an honest story from Bana. Though it really is only us watching him do his hobby. Bana is such a likeable and charismatic guy that it is sort of fun watching him live his dreams.

A political leader Shiva Reddy wants someone to attempt an assassination on him so that he could get more votes through sympathy. On the day of the murder attempt, before Nandu gets to shoot Shiva Reddy, someone else fatally shoots Shiva Reddy. Police tracks down Nandu, assuming he is the murderer. From there Nandu persues his search to find the real assassin while impersonating as a decessed Pardhu who ran away from his village at his young age and shot by police in a cross fire during a gun-fight with Nandu.

Stephen Z (it) wrote: Riggs and Murtaugh are back in their third team-up, "Lethal Weapon 3". But the duo's third outing isn't quite as much fun as their previous adventures. The film overall seems to, at times, try too hard to be funny and goofy, instead of coming naturally, as before. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are just as charming as usual, while Rene Russo brings new blood to the franchise with an enjoyable performance. On the other hand, Joe Pesci's character returns for reasons unknown; only this time, he is more annoying than he is funny. It's got enough quality action and comedy to be enjoyable, but "Lethal Weapon 3" shows the early signs of a franchise that has run out ideas - quickly.
