Nathan D (it) wrote: In terms of film techniques, Blood into Wine is a fairly mundane representation of Maynard James Keenan's efforts with music and wine, however, Keenan's sincerity, colorful cameos by modern celebrities, and a fairly interesting story make this movie worth watching. The film opens up with comedy from Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, which was a pleasant introduction into the rather slow beginning of the movie. After things pick up, however slighlty that may be, the story carries itself well and the movie becomes much more rewarding. Overall, Blood into Wine is a welcome look into both the wine industry and one of modern rock's most interesting entertainers. 12.07.2011

Shahrukh khan and Naseeruddin shah had created beautiful magic out of this flick, they made a great pair in this movie. This is a sweet, simple entertainer with a lesson. Direction is sweet...Music is melodious, I like the song (Is Pyar se Meri Taraf Na Dekho Pyaar Hojayega). All in all a great family movie.

Jason H (kr) wrote: The movie's sentimentality might seem horrifically saccharine to contemporary audiences, but remember it was made in the very middle of the war. Cornball humor was the rule, and so were Dirty Japs. The effects sequences are well executed and John Garfield and John Forsythe are both fun to watch. Grant is a BIT fey for a U.S. sub skipper, but hey, even Cary Grant wants to be Cary Grant. A strong dose of propaganda in the form of a movie.
