I've killed four innocent people and I want to answer for that, but before I do, I want to kill him."What Would You Risk For Love?"Heaven is a tough film to figure out for me. It's unique for sure, with major events happening at times you wouldn't expect them to. I never was able to fall in love with it, although I did thoroughly enjoy the whole film. It's wonderfully shot, the score is fantastic, and Cate Blanchett and Giovanni Ribisi are bother terrific.A woman, Philippa, is a teacher living in Italy who recently lost her husband to a drug overdose. She gets fed up with law enforcement's lack of care her information about the drug dealer whose pushing large amount of drugs. So she decides to kill him. She tries to kill him with a bomb, but things don't go as planned and four innocent people die, while the drug kingpin still lives. To complicate things more, she is detained for the bombing. This isn't a movie that really appeals to me too much, but I was able to find quite a bit I liked and was able to take away from the film. I don't believe this to be a masterpiece or anything like that, but it is worth a viewing. If only for Care Blanchett, it deserves a look.
David Ray G (ag) wrote: Very harsh and realistic film on drugs, and how they can bring together unlikely people. It had great performances, and this undeniable 90's feel that I've missed from today's movies. I can hardly believe that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was 17-18 when he made this film - he really looked like he was 12. Engaging and heart-breaking, with an appropriate ending. Character-driven, and with a well-written script.

Jay Z (br) wrote: I'm really disappointed that I didn't receive the Kool-aid everyone else got to drink before watching this movie. I had high expectations since it has outstanding reviews, and it seems like every person I know loves it. But I just really couldn't stand any part of it. I don't think the first 10 minutes are a tearjerker. I didn't find their relationship particularly cute, just rather depressing. They didn't actually even get to live. And besides that, the characters were pretty obnoxious. The little boy was so incredibly annoying and reminded me why I have no interest in having kids myself. The only characters I liked were the dumb dog and the bird. And although this movie isn't particularly long, it felt like it lasted 3 times as long as it actually did. The only reason I made it through the whole thing was I kept hoping it would get better. It did not.
