Steven M (ag) wrote: Dumb, stupid, horribly hysterical concept. If you don't take yourself and movies to seriously, you can sit back with a six pack of beer and just enjoy a weird funny movie.

Matthew D (au) wrote: This is a movie that is perfect for fans, child or adult, of the Phineas and Ferb television series. Ne warned, though-Phineas's emotional side shows more often in this film. It's an odd movie, but hey, everyone loves an odd movie once in a while.

Tamnna B (es) wrote: Got me in tears throughout the whole movie loved it so much touched my heart x Insha'Allah I will try my full best and carry on the movement too x

Chrissy (au) wrote: The cover look cool as hell, but the movie completely SUCKED!!!! I couldn't even finish watching it.

Josie L (ca) wrote: I've actually never seen the movie, but the book was phenomenal

Gimly M (de) wrote: Didn't hate it, but I expected more from a Twohy/Aronofsky combo.

Holly P (au) wrote: Good movie. It has danger, blood, love, friends, the ocean and a man painted silver. What more does a movie need? Bahahaah.

His portrayal of a writer deeply involved with his characters on an emotional level really lends credence to what he does once he can interact with them personally. There are running gags throughout that will definitely make you chuckle- such as needing to wait for the cable guy because you have "Bars on 2 & 7" or "Oh no, you're going to give me a brain tumor!" (in regards to how melodramatic soaps are). Blake Hedison's upped dosage of medication and results really are enough to make your cringe. And my personal favorite- John Candy's reaction to Robert Wagner- priceless! The writing is clever (again, keeping inside jokes), and the stabs at the soap industry are ones any one has made a thousand times but it is done with such earnest exaggeration that it does not get stale. This is more of a causal comedy than a gut buster but I do not think it should not be missed by any John Candy fan.

Thomas B (de) wrote: Baz Luhrmann's epic is definitely that, but it also lacks a deal of coherence and has some violent shifts in tone. Full review later.
