Gary K (us) wrote: Here's all you need to know about this movie: junior college cheerleaders work as go-go dancers for tuition and moonlight as ninjas. The plot is thin because it's a B-movie with D-list stars; but, like "Amazon Women on the Moon" and any one of the "L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies" titles from Andy Sidaris, the mix of camp and action keeps this one watchable.

Justin B (de) wrote: Another disappointing "cult classic". Some of the stories can be mildly amusing but the whole film reeks of this stale 'flavor-of-the-month' feel. There was enough money to slap a monster cast together with a plethora of 80's tunes but not enough left over to make a good script. It's supposed to take place on New Years Eve in NEW YORK yet the film has no energy and is at times almost stagnant. Some rich sound design and snappy editing would have helped.

It's their she becomes in charge of the choir and of course she changes the lives of others. This is a comedy that would normally rely on cliches but much like the directors previous movies (Dirty Dancing, which relied on cliches from 80s dance flicks) he's able to balance the cliche with fresh material. It's not reinventing the wheel but it's not copying its formula either. Whoopi brings a breath of fresh air to the movie.

Andy W (ca) wrote: The initial premise is quite intriguing, if a little on the edge of weird, but it doesn't really amount to much. The performances is fine, it's watchable, but it's all a bit thinly sketched. For something with a bit of an edgy premise, it needed more bite.

Alex V (de) wrote: Interesting. Surprising. Never knew where the story was gonna go. Such an amalgam of standard story structures often seen with surprises. Enjoyable.

Dylan D (gb) wrote: Hotel For Dogs is a surprisingly sweet, touching, and funny Comedy that is easily suitable for the entire family. Not only are the varied dogs a pleasure to watch, but the performances by the two-legged actors are better than expected, with Don Cheadle delivering another first-rate performance. The film features a solid message on the importance of love, respect, and sticking by friends in both the best of times and the worst of times.
