Big fan of Glenn Howerton from Always Sunny. Ben Schwartz is a comical genius and Steven Little has come to the front from East Bound & Down. Surprisingly, Josh Groban was gold and the brief, albeit hilarious cameo from Jake Johnson was classic. Adrianne Palicki was meh for me. Pretty sure, but not the best timing. The story is simple, but it's not really why you're watching the film. The bits and dialogue in between the main story really get you laughing in sets. It has more than a feel of a YouTube video but not quite as fleshed out as an indy film. If you like the actors, take a moment to sit and watch.
(mx) wrote: The story is familiar and the arc trite, but the acting is reputable and the music excellent. It felt a bit too obvious at times with the film as a whole trying hard but failing to become the next crossover in the line of "Once."

It transforms from a mediocre fantasy into a marvelous display of love and glitter and magic and (well-quoted!) Shakespeare. You will gasp, and laugh. You probably won't cry. More than worth your time: a potential life-changer just waiting to be discovered. Sing!

Also includes a plethora of film clips showcasing the greatest movie moments of his career along with rare home movies and newsreel footage. A MUST SEE!
(it) wrote: One of the most quotable movies of this century, Mean Girls, is a cult classic on a large scale. We see Lindsay Lohan before the train went off the tracks and she really delivers a fun performance. The dialogue is done well and manages to stay current. The movie flows very well and constantly has the audiences' attention. There is an actual arch for our main character and we root for her throughout. This movie is an example of a great set up, great delivery, and finishing with a lighthearted punch. This is a feel-good movie that can be turned on whenever you're hanging out with your friends.

I like some good scenes in here, but like I said it was a bit slow not enough action. So for this being an okay film, with solid performances by everyone, but for also having some issues, I give " Death Wish " a C-.
