Jamie C (fr) wrote: Brilliant film Will Smith does great to say he carries the film by himself, The effects were a let down, The story is brilliant but it's very different to most zombie films and wont appeal to most as it's not all about the kill count it's about the life of the last man on earth and his struggle to survive and keep his sanity.

I felt depressing watching the film, France has been filled up with trash like these, I love the rednecks though however, they were fun to watch. Secondly, it isn't something we haven't watched before, typical dumbass teenagers being lured to outskirts of the city and got became the target of something sinister. I felt like I was watching Manos crossing over with House of 1000 Corpses, only that House of 1000 Corpses was much better. Vincent Cassel is the only redeeming factor in the film.

Russell has gained plenty of attention recently for directing acclaimed films like The Fighter and Silver Linings Playbook, and this earlier effort of his shows that he's retained his style throughout his career. A screwball comedy that acts as both a zany road movie, and a statement on values such as sex and family, Flirting With Disaster has aged very well. Probably the best movie to star Ben Stiller too.
