Will L (es) wrote: Funny, creative, and gleefully depraved.

Andrew R (gb) wrote: Naturalistic account of a sexual encounter. One of the best cinematic evocations of passion and fleeting intimacy.

Jennifer M (us) wrote: sad flick about the highs-and-lows of unionization. being a bit homesick for the west coast myself, it was great to see a flick use an authentic and believable LA backdrop. brody definitely stole the movie - and my heart - in this one - TOTAL HOTNESS!!! =)

Nate T (it) wrote: Classic! Third outing in the theatrical series. Followed by one more theatrical film and a TV series reboot. On Blu-ray.

Justin B (es) wrote: The special effects are terrible, the make up is terrible and the acting is inconsistent. There are moments of inspired campy violence in this very dumb movie, but that's exactly the problem as it takes itself dead seriously.

Kris W (fr) wrote: 'Some of them promised they'd never fall in love' Good New York movie, a favorite of both Quentin Tarantino and Wes Anderson. Dorothy Stratten was murdered soon after production ended. The negative publicity surrounding the tragedy contributed to the film's limited release.

Alvin Y (gb) wrote: Julianne Moore's Carol is increasingly wrought with anxiety, panic, and fear, as she realizes that everything she knows may have to be sacrificed for the sake of her well-being. There is a slight valuable and yet a very important and intriguing message about this movie. It doesn't hate the government. It doesn't blame any virus that is spreading. It doesn't either target the society who controls the environment. When I think of *Safe*, I think of a movie on how the filmmakers are willing to make the setting look menacing and a dangerous place to go to. Todd Haynes coyly keeps the exact nature of Carol's illness ambiguous, depicting her syndrome as very real at the same time implying that her descent into sickness and subsequent embrace of New Age treatment may just be a search for something to fill a void in her life. So *Safe* still offers a lot of questions but few answers, bravely subverting sickness of the week tropes by withholding the promise of a miracle one. It's really a true modern horror film whose threat seems to be civilization itself. Probably one of the most logical films in the last 15 years.

Sandy B (ru) wrote: This is very good acting and Hardy brings the character Bob to life and develops the real essence of Bob in front of our very eyes! He is deserving of our notice! There was good acting by the others and of course Gandolfini is superb and made me realize how much I will miss him!

Ifiok O (it) wrote: While it's not exactly the strongest movie in the series, but just like the second movie was, it's just your average cheesy slasher movie with all the camp and gore you would come to love and expect. The movie doesn't shy away from the fact it's just that. If you're a fan of the series, or you just want to look for a few cheap thrills, this is adequate enough.
