Sabine P (kr) wrote: Hoffman as always is brilliant here...look..this is a remarkable film but there are a couple of key scenes that are absolutely astonishing film that meshes both the real and surreal aspects of the human condition simultaneously. Deeply moving and well worth the watch just for these moments alone.
Charis W (mx) wrote: This is a great movie. I wondered how the audience could be engaged with people making poor decisions in a cold environment, but the movie clipped along with a great pace and a storyline that drew me in. I kept thinking that I should be feeling cold in the theater because it felt like I was right there with them. I recommend this movie in a heartbeat!

The ridiculously hard to catch killer, lugging an ENORMOUS chainsaw around a college, casually carving up girls to collect whatever pieces he needs for a pet project - this film is a lot of fun and well worth a look for the awful dubbing and dialog alone.Recommended.

Scott F (jp) wrote: Hmm I don't know why people hate the film so much. I thought it was great, suspenseful and intriguing. The way the movie was split up with the chapters like the book also added the the mystery of the movie. I thought the actors portrayed their parts well. I disagree that they were 'card board' as suggested by another blogger, although perhaps they may have been a bit stereotypical. I enjoyed the concept, how the story looped back and how it came to an interesting resolution.
