Chris S (ag) wrote: I remember watching the Lilo and Stitch TV show when I was younger. This film is the pilot to that show. Searching for the other 625 experiments is a clever idea. It's not too bad but not great either.

Alexander P (au) wrote: A great parody of club culture and drug culture showing the "positive" side to drug-taking. Obviously not a good idea for the impressionable youth but funny and clever in its own way

Joshua W (de) wrote: One of the best British film of the 90's! Very quotable dialogue, great humour and one of my favourite endings to a film.

Rodney E (de) wrote: Snake Eyes is one of those movies were the trailer wasn't bad but then it is released and I hear nothing but bad things about it and then will see it and then almost forget years later that i even saw it. Brian DePalma really didn't offer anything memorable here aside from a quarter of a decent movie completely marred by a horrible third act.

Andrew L (us) wrote: Leone's sprawling epic is an operatic masterpiece. Such an immense film yet so few words to do it justice.

Cary M (nl) wrote: Melodramatic, but convincing. Some scenes seemed to play long, but that could be because I am use to our current faster storytelling mode. Had nice touches, especially Crawford being nearsighted. I am sure it was a big deal for a megawatt looker to keep pulling out glasses and putting them on.

Tristan D (jp) wrote: The usual Inner Sanctum formula is in place with this fourth outing but they manage to change things up a bit with the wax museum setting. Martin Kosleck gives the most interesting performance as the mad surgeon, Rudi.

They head into the city and find life harder than they anticipated. The husband kills himself leading to Stanley coming crawling back to her family. When her family doesn't welcome her with open arms, life becomes hard for Stanley."She isn't like that.""I don't know what anyone's like."John Huston, director of Maltese Falcon, The Treasure of Sierra Madre, The African Queen, Annie (1982), The Man Who Would be King, Key Largo, The Asphalt Jungle, and Prizzi's Honor, delivers In this Our Life. The storyline for this picture is very compelling, well delivered, and reminded me of The Long Hot Summer with Paul Newman the way the characters were crossed and frustrated. The acting was outstanding and the cast includes Bette Davis, Charles Coburn, Olivia de Havilland, Billie Burke, and Hattie McDaniel. "It's conceivable two people could leave the house the same night and not leave together."I DVR'd this picture off Turner Classic Movies (TCM) some time ago because it was directed by legendary John Huston and was led by strong female performances. The plot sounded interesting and I can tell you it is delivered very well. Davis plays her character to perfection and the sub plots were very well delivered. I strongly recommend seeing this film."I can't think when you're this close to me.""Then hold me closer. I don't want you to think."Grade: A-
