(kr) wrote: I am still trying to see this dubbed or subtitled in English, but from what I DID see, it looks like a good one!I couldn't find it in English, so I tried to watch it with subtitles. At some point they disappeared and I had no idea what was going on. I think I got the gist of it though. Not bad.

I knew that it wasn't very good because of its reviews, but I wanted to give it a chance. And it was what I was expecting, something not very good but with good quality. It seemed like a lot of fun at first and it did go to the point since the beginning, but then it got lost and it went too slow to simply become a killer movie without a good reason. I mean, it could've been a better movie because of its concept about how women are mistreated by men and are sexualized in some cultures, etcetera. But it didn't go that path. At the end the cycle would repeat and no lesson was learned.

(jp) wrote: An absolutely horrendous piece of trash, Loch Ness Terror offers up nothing new or exciting to offer the horror genre. Outside of an awful performance from "lead" actor Brian Krause (of Sleepwalkers fame) and the teenage kid who clocks his head on the boat when he jumps off the dock, this is one to be avoided at all costs. Don't say you weren't warned.
(it) wrote: Not as good as the first. Still pretty fun and good for a few laughs. Ron and Larry have the best jokes.
(fr) wrote: As an Anthony Mackie fan I was curious. This is a wonderful movie and educational too. Disappointed that it didn't receive a much wider distribution. Quite a few actors from the HBO series The Wire in this one!
(ru) wrote: Teen stars take on a more serious subject and characters. This movie is good, the actors do a good job, and the movie is interesting. I liked it.
(de) wrote: Not your usual submarine movie. Yes, it had a secret mission, conflicted captain, dashing leading man, some comic relief, etc., but it lacked the spark found in classics such as "Run Silent, Run Deep" or "Destination Tokyo."Here, we have James Garner as a commando who must infiltrate a Japanese camp, photograph a secret code book, and swim back to his boat in a short period of time. The writing just seemed to have some holes in it, actions taken without explanation, etc. Further, much of the acting was by-the-numbers. A lack of chemistry among the cast meant a lack of tension in what should have been a white-knuckle experience.

(ru) wrote: Well-made, briskly-paced, and surprisingly deep action flick. It's much higher quality than most JCVD direct-to-video movies, from the good performances to its layered plot; it has a Leon: The Professional vibe throughout. I would've liked to have seen more action sequences considering the martial arts talent between Van Damme and Adkins, but it's always nice to see them share the screen all the same.
