Beautiful cinematography. Good direction by one of the rising female directors of color, Amma Asante. The story is a bit conventionally cloying on the heart strings. Lead actress Rosamund Pike makes us feel the real life woman who put in the work to become a queen-in-waiting and then first lady of an African nation. If Meryl Streep were a black man, she would be David Oyelowo.

Soon the killings continue and he suspects it is someone close by.The film is supposed to be a horror/thriller but I thought it was more comedy at times with a very poor storyline

Also, when your real name actor is Ron Jeremy and he kicks the bucket before the 30mins mark, you know this isn't gonna be an amazing movie. But its not trying to be- it's a b-movie and it knows it is. If you like low budgets, blood, boobs, and off-beat plots, this is the kind of movie you should watch- it's worth a laugh or two to say the least :p

It's easy to be drawn into a world of scholastic pressure and social conformity (they're organisations and cultures we are or have been a part of) and these aspects are captured quite nicely here. Genuine performances from Joe Pesci and Brendan Fraser make these flawed characters accessible, and there's lovely supporting roles from Moria Kelly, Patrick Dempsey and Josh Hamilton. Indeed, 'With Honors' carries such a familiarly with it, as though our central characters belong to a syndicated TV drama, that going along with proceedings is without chore. With its heart in the right place and a lot to say about how we perceive the world in which we live, this is a lovely film.

(us) wrote: excellent dialogue and psychology of 2 struggling writers in 70's. Snoop Dog and Dylan McDermott were great.Rather theatrical.
(kr) wrote: Abominable! Hardly a word of original dialogue in it, with an underdeveloped plot and no attempt to maximize potentially humorous situations. A complete waste of time, fellow classic Disney fans.
