(br) wrote: GREAT documentary about the lead singer of tool, a perfect circle, and puscifier and his wine-making in northern Arizona...highly recommend for tool fans AND wine lovers
(es) wrote: my goodness... i cannot express just how bad i feel for the families that are involved in situations like this. those poor kids; especially the daughter! how can you even think that doing this is okay? things always "get out of hand" and they "never meant for this to happen" but then why do it? why? i just don't understand... if you're lonely and want to chat online; fine -- but be yourself. you'll find someone who wants to talk with you eventually. watching this film actually made me really mad; especially now that it's over.
(ag) wrote: At first I was thinking that this was yet another movie about a person struggling to support her family. The harsh climate reflects her situation yadayada. I almost turned it off but the whole smuggling angle really peaked my interest. Really good movie. Kinda predicable though.
(es) wrote: Even though the advertisement is totally misleading - there is no teenage menage-a-trois - this is still worth checking out. When a high-school nobody starts hanging out with rich kids just to get close to the pretty Sara, their drug-fueled nights take a turn for the worse. There are a couple of totally unexpected twists towards the end. Lizzy Caplan and D.J. Cotrona are very, very good.

(au) wrote: Sure, you can easily write Hackers off as a bad movie but I've always enjoyed it. Before the Matrix, this was the coolest cyberpunk film. Screw any Angelina Jolie film of now, I had a big crush on her in this movie, while Matthew Lillard (Scream) is strange and goofy; but in a good way. Hackers is also sexy but mostly due to Jolie.

(jp) wrote: Stop these silly comparisons to Ray H.'s work. He's in a class all his own. Having said that, to discount this film becasue it doesn't measure up to such a high standard is being overly harsh. This is a creatively fun romp. So over the top I get carried away each time I see it. God only knows how much Harryhausen's work means to me but that does not stop me from having fun with other poples' work as well.
(fr) wrote: Much less comedy than is usual and more drama. Not their best.
