A Yash Raj production, the movie is a pleasure to watch. Priyanka is excellent as always. Dino was also good. The surprise package was Uday Chopra, who gave quite a convincing performance. I initially didn't think he would be able to pull it off. Great direction and catchy, foot-tapping music just add to the film. Not to be taken seriously, the movie's a fun watch.

Carlos M (kr) wrote: With funnier jokes, better animation and more inspired references, this entertaining sequel is considerably superior to the first movie, boasting also a sweet message about love transcending all differences and characters much more charismatic now than ever before.

Spyros T (us) wrote: A pretty good film if you don't take it too seriously, The Crimson Rivers is a surprisingly effective and macabre Se7en clone. It's fair to say that after Silence of the Lambs and Seven, the serial killer film had pretty much run out of inspiration. Not because successors were so terrible but because the benchmarks were just too darn seminal. The Crimson Rivers is a step in the right direction. Granted, there are a few lapses in logic but this remains fairly unpredictable, compelling and original. Cassel and Jean Reno make a great team, and it's an interesting premise and setting, even if the resolution is kind of improbable.

Lloyd H (kr) wrote: Arguably the most cliche disaster movie ever made. Stallone is surprisingly good, but the bit part members of the supporting cast are weak and their performances are dreadful. The way they take it in turns to speak is embarrassing and the dialogue is complete garbage. Viggo Mortensen's character seemed interesting but his role is short lived as he's killed off a quarter of an hour into the film. The cliche coincidences that cause the disaster to unfold is frustrating to watch and has no elements of originality. The introduction of the characters is poor and their individual outcomes are predictable. The special effects are not the best but some of the set pieces are entertaining enough. In particular the turbine scene. I did however enjoy the soundtrack, but other than that there's little that's good about this film. I'm in no hurry to watch this film again any time soon.
