(ag) wrote: Starts out a little rough and isn't very realistic at all but has some nice twists to it and is ably acted. They did a good job here with a small budget. Emanuelle Chriqui is smoking. It won't be time wasted but neither will it be one of your favorite films of all time. For direct to DVD fare, it is good watching.

(br) wrote: My opinion-."Trainspotting" is a movie by Danny Boyle, adapted by Irvine Welsh'sbest-seller in 1993, describing the adventures of a group of youngScottish heroin addicts and it was this movie that launched the careerof The actor Ewan McGregor, who takes the lead. Beyond the addiction todrugs, the film explores the sordid living conditions of the youngergeneration in a Scotland in full economic depression. "Trainspotting"does not constitute an apology for drugs, and thanks to a great scriptthat dares to unveil this glaucous universe of Scottish junkieswhatever junkie is a universal word and the situations in Scotland arethe same everywhere. Danny Boyle approaches with humor and almost acertain lightness, a taboo subject that is drug, the movie is also verywell realized and on a very good rhythm. A movie that I advise

(fr) wrote: While colorful, I have to knock points off for it trying too hard to be artsy. Still, really well put together for a directorial debut. The moral of the story was also a bit on the nose.Really enjoy Sam Rockwell, he is the big reason I didn't turn if off.

(mx) wrote: A successful exercise of style. Knight manage to raise tension, discomfortand pity in the viewer. The directing, the sound, the lighting and the music are such that we identify with the character, played by Tom Hardy more than convincing, that shows us how a man happy can lose everything in an instant. Very good movie, both simple and original.
