Two mortal enemies must band together to defend the ranch they've both staked their claim on in this rollicking western comedy starring Dean Cain and Natasha Henstrige. When B.J. (James Tupper) wagered half of his ranch in a bet with Shea (Cain), he never thought he'd come out on the losing end. Now that ownership of the ranch is split down the middle, the two gamblers can't quite agree on anything. The most hotly contested debate to result from the wager isn't the ranch, however, but the hand of the lovely Liz Calhoun (Allison Hossack). Both men want Liz, but neither man can have her. When a gang of bandits makes a bid for the ranch, B.J. and Shea momentarily put their differences aside to fight shoulder to shoulder against a common enemy. . Babs L (es) wrote: One of my favorite movies? i know, the actors are bad, the performances are even worse, the dialogues (dont even start on that one)? nonetheless i love it. The last 15 minutes are awesome? a perfect closure for a stupid, cheesy, but wonderful movie. It??s like Dawson was saying to Joey in an episode of ??Dawson??s Creek??. There is one movie that, every one of us is ashamed to call as a favorite. ??Sing?? is that movie for me.
SagaciousFrank (us) wrote: I can't understand why this film has received such a bad rap from audiences here on RT. I haven't read the book, but regardless, it's well shot and directed (it is Spielberg after all) with great specials effects and the cinematography is nice once you get used to the grainy washed out pallete. There's some nice action and suspenseful moments, and besides the the mildly annoying screaming girl part, Spielberg shows Roland Emerich that it's possible to shoot a more focused character driven disaster movie. 4/5
Claire H (jp) wrote: I don't like this because the lion didn't show up until the middle of the movie, plus the explorer part was very unnecessary.

Josh M (ru) wrote: Excessive explosions and unnecessary slow motion. The bullets being fired even explode with huge sparks when they hit something. More of a fireworks show than a movie.

JohnnyLee T (ag) wrote: Great settings, acting, actors, soundtrack and camerawork. Complications of plot (at times, who's who?) didn't hide inevitability of ending. Also, unfamiliar with French justice and political systems, which would have helped understand the background. But well worth the watch - couldn't leave it before the end - especially for two lead actors. Best French movie to come along for a while.
